Ring Replacement & Remake Service
Need a Different Ring Size, Width, or Band Material?
We totally understand—sometimes a ring just isn't the perfect fit, and that's okay! Because every Copperbeard Jewelry ring is handcrafted specifically for you, we offer a couple of options to help you get the ring that's right for you.
Ring Size Replacement & Remake Options
1. Return & Size Replacement
If your ring doesn't fit and you don't need to keep the original, you can send it back to us and we'll handcraft a brand-new ring in the correct size.
⏰ This option is available within 30 days of receiving your product.
Because every ring is handmade, a "resize" requires us to create an entirely new ring from scratch. Unlike mass-produced rings that can often be stretched or adjusted, the unique construction and materials used in our rings generally don't allow us to simply alter the existing ring.
A $45 remake fee applies to cover a portion of the additional materials, labor, craftsmanship, and production time required to handcraft your replacement ring.
The original ring must be returned to us before your replacement ring can be made.
2. Keep Your Original & Get a New One
If your ring has sentimental value and you don't want to part with it, you can keep your original and order a brand-new ring in the correct size.
This option is especially popular for meaningful rings such as wedding bands, engagement rings, and promise rings.
Since you'll be keeping your original ring, you'll receive 10% off the purchase of your new ring as a thank-you for choosing this option.
Your new ring will be handcrafted from scratch, just like your original. The same production timeframe will apply, and any additional customization, material, or engraving charges will still apply where applicable.
Why Is There a Remake Fee?
Every Copperbeard Jewelry ring is individually handmade and made to order. We don't mass-produce our rings or keep finished pieces sitting in inventory waiting to be shipped.
When a ring needs to be made in a different size, we aren't simply adjusting the original ring. In most cases, we have to start the process over and handcraft an entirely new ring using fresh materials.
This means a size replacement requires additional materials, labor, craftsmanship, and production time. The $45 remake fee helps us cover a portion of these costs while allowing us to continue making each ring with the same care and attention as the original.
Please note: The standard $45 remake fee applies to most rings. Additional charges may apply for rings containing particularly costly or specialty materials.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
🔹 30-Day Window: The Return & Size Replacement option must be requested within 30 days of receiving your product. Requests made after 30 days may be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to additional fees.
🔹 Same Design: The $45 remake fee applies to making the same ring in a different size. Changes to the ring's width, material, inlay, or other design specifications are not considered a standard size replacement and may require additional charges.
🔹 Engraved Rings: If your original ring was engraved, a new engraving service will need to be purchased for the replacement ring.
🔹 Shipping: Customers are responsible for shipping the original ring back to us. Any applicable shipping costs for the replacement ring may also apply.
🔹 Production Time: Since your replacement ring is handmade from scratch, the same production timeframe will apply to your new ring.
🔹 Ring Style: Each ring is handmade and one-of-a-kind. While the materials and overall design will remain the same, slight variations may occur in the final piece.

Made to order
Each ring is individually made to order, so there may be slight variations from the ring pictured. These unique differences are part of the handmade nature of each piece, but your ring will always feature the same materials, design, and overall style shown.
Lighting & appearance
Please note that the ring shown in our photos is photographed under bright lighting. The appearance of gemstones, metals, and other materials can vary depending on lighting conditions, viewing angle, and your surroundings. Gems may appear lighter, darker, more vibrant, or slightly different in tone under different types of natural or artificial light. Product photos are intended to provide a representation of the ring in bright light, but the piece you receive may look different in person or under other lighting conditions.

Inlay Ring Care Guide
Inlay rings feature delicate materials such as wood, opal, and other natural inlays set into metal. With proper care, you can help keep your ring looking beautiful for years to come.
- Clean Gently
Clean your ring with mild soap, water, and a soft cloth. Avoid soaking the ring or using ultrasonic cleaners, as excessive moisture or vibration may damage delicate inlay materials. - Avoid Chemicals
Keep your ring away from harsh chemicals, household cleaners, perfumes, and lotions, as these can damage both the inlay and the metal. - Store Safely
When you’re not wearing your ring, store it separately from other jewelry in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box. This will help prevent scratches and accidental impacts. - Remove During Activities
Take your ring off during activities that may expose it to excessive moisture, impact, or abrasion, such as swimming, sports, gardening, or heavy lifting. - Check Your Ring Regularly
Occasionally inspect the inlay for signs of damage, wear, or lifting. If you notice anything unusual, please reach out to us so we can advise you on the best care or repair options.
With a little extra care, your inlay ring can remain a beautiful and cherished piece for years to come.
